The Foundation of UMDNJ is affiliated with New Jersey Health Foundation, its parent company, and Foundation Venture Capital Group, LLC.

Foundation Venture Capital Group was established in 2006 by New Jersey Health Foundation as a venture firm to invest in emerging medical research and technology being developed by new life science companies affiliated with UMDNJ faculty scientists. To date, FVCG has invested up to $500,000 in each of seven companies that license UMDNJ technology.
